The nearest beach from the villa is Ravdoucha beach which is an unorganised beach only a four minute drive from the villa.
It is a pebble beach with beautiful rock formations, and is ideal for snorkeling. Along the beach, it is also possible to visit the picturesque church of Saint Onoufrios, built into a rock next to the sea.
The nearest organised beach is Kolymbari Beach which is mainly sandy with big pebbles at parts.
The water is not too deep and it offers umbrellas and sunbeds, showers, lifeguard, water sports, cafe, snackers, tavernas and restaurants.
From the beach you can see the Thodorou islet, a preservation area of the Cretan wild goat widely known as Kri-kri.
The landscape of the area is magnificent, with steep mountains, wild rocks and olive groves. The area has several small bays with pebbles and beautiful rock formations. The sea is often affected by the west winds and is ideal for snorkeling. Also in Ravdoucha there are a few, but famous fish taverns and some basic touristic facilities. There are no umbrellas, but you can find shade under the trees on the beach.
Access to Ravdoucha is possible by car, via a paved road in good condition from Chania - Kisamos highway. The village is built on an elevated position overlooking the sea. On the way to the beach you'll meet the cavernous chapels of St Marina and St Onoufrios, that is worth taking photos from.
The northmost beach of the area is called Neratzia after a small tavern with the same name. It is a sandy quiet beach with a small pier on the side, used a small harbour.
